摘    要:中国地理作为现代地理科学基础理论层次的区域地理学的核心课程之一,承担着中国地理国情教育,培养学生正确的区域人口观、资源观、环境观、发展观,培养学生综合的、开放的地理思维能力,完善学生地理专业素养等方面的功能和作用。经过数十年的实践,我国高校中国地理课程教学改革达到了新的高度,但仍需在课程设置、教材建设、师资队伍建设、课程资源共享平台建设和课程的各教学环节上作进一步改革探讨。
