论全球化扩张下近代日本的锁国政策

全球化发端于中世纪后期的西欧,之后作为一种新的先进的文明开始向全球扩张。但是,日本由于特殊的原因,在锁国的200多年中,通过与荷兰的贸易关系一直保持着与西方文明的接触。这一点在后来日本面对民族殖民危机实现近代化过程中起到了巨大的作用。

On Japan''''s Policy of Exclusion under Globalization Expansion

The globalization starts in late middle ages of Western Europe, and acts as one kind of new advanced civilization expanding everywhere. Although Japan implemented the exclusion policy for over 200 years, it maintained the contact with the western civilization through trade relations with Holland. This contact with civilization plays a very important role in its realization of the modernizion process when facing colonization crisis.
