| Abstract: | In the novel Plum in the Gold Vase, Wu Yueniang was such an iron-and-blood and valiant figure who assumed the airs of a good woman in a small thing, but she must on no account show others any mercy on an important matter. So in another respect, she was fierce and ruthless towards others under her outward hypocrisy. |
