| 摘 要： | 《白鲸》是美国文艺复兴时期一部史诗般的文学巨著和璀璨明珠，展示的是亚哈船长为复仇而捕杀白鲸，最后人鲸共亡的悲剧。悲剧是世界文学最重要的母题之一。通过纵览世界悲剧文学的特点。阐述美国悲剧文学作品的特色，可以反映出关国个人中心主义意识向帝国扩张主义意识的过渡与转变中的民族悲剧。

| Abstract: | Moby Dick is a great literary work in the American Renaissance,telling a story about Captain Ahab's crazy chase of Moby Dick,which leads to the tragic ending of the whole crew and the white whale.Tragedy is one of the most important motif in the world Literature.By scanning the features represented in the world tragedy literature,especially the features in American tragedies,we can find a national tragedy in the course of the transition from Individualism to Imperialism. |
