A Tentative Study on Network Language Code-Switching by Linguistic Adaptation

Code-switching(henceforth CS) is a common phenomenon in e-communication process on the Internet.After a brief review of the definition of CS and introduction to the net language,the paper analyzes different types of CS and explains in the theory of Adaptation Model that CS in net language as a product of communication is adaptive to linguistic reality,social conventions and psychological motivations.
