论三大类型中西古典悲剧的差异性

对中西古典悲剧的三大类型(即命运型、性格型、社会型)的差异性进行比较分析,发现中西民族存在着悲剧观念的根本性差异:在命运观上,中国重伦理功用,常著"乐天之色彩",而西方重认识,常著原罪的"审美性";在自我认识观上,中国重克己的和谐,显得悲苦凄怨,而西方重扬己的冲突,显得悲壮崇高;在社会观上,中国重命运形而上的解脱,而西方重社会形式本身的批判.造成这种差异性的根本原因是各自所赖以产生发展的文化语境.

The Differences between Chinese Ancient Tragedies and Western Tragedies from the Perspective of Three Types

By comparing the differences between Chinese ancient tragedies and western tragedies from the perspective of three types (fate type, character type and society type) ,it is discovered there are essential differences between the two cultures .Fate type : Chinese emphasize ethic and function with the color of optimism ,while westerners emphasize knowledge and show the original sin from esthetical point of view . Character type: Chinese emphasize harmony by self-denial, miserable and mournful, while westerners emphasize contradictions by self-affirmation, solemn and stirring. Society type: Chinese emphasize being relieved from fate, while westerners emphasize criticizing the society itself .The reasons for these differences lie in the culture context which the tragedies are derived from.
