Writing should be alone with great car e, proofreading with greater care. As to the publications' printing errors found after proofreading, corrections should be made timely on a suitable occasion. P ublications should be translated into foreign languages by qualified translators . Publications should be timely delivered to reading public. Marx and Engels not only took their own publishing problems seriously and were scrupulous about eve ry detail, but also commented on noted works at a higher angle to guide our work . Because they attached great importance to writing's legibility, they had been using the most acceptable methods to write and showed consideration for reader's reading habits. They thought publications should be instructive.
