Subjects for Articles on School Libraries Desired by Editors of Educational Periodicals
Abstract:Abstract

Ratings were obtained from 142 graduate students concerning the extent to which they perceived themselves possessing certain characteristics. Half of these students were requested to sign their names; half remained anonymous. Analysis of the results indicated that:

1. Students rated themselves higher on non-intellectual than on Intellectual traits.

2. There was no significant difference in ratings between the anonymous group and the group who signed their names.

3. Self-ratings were independent of both the sex and the number of graduate credits earned by the subject.
