Abstract: | AbstractRatings were obtained from 142 graduate students concerning the extent to which they perceived themselves possessing certain characteristics. Half of these students were requested to sign their names; half remained anonymous. Analysis of the results indicated that:1. Students rated themselves higher on non-intellectual than on Intellectual traits.2. There was no significant difference in ratings between the anonymous group and the group who signed their names.3. Self-ratings were independent of both the sex and the number of graduate credits earned by the subject. |
