隐喻理论对词汇教学的几点启示

摘    要:文章首先扼要介绍了词汇教学的现状,然后运用认知语言学的隐语理论对现代的词汇教学做了简单的探讨。作者认为在词汇教学中应该注意基本范畴词汇的教学,注意词汇的扩展义,以及在语境中教学等。只有这样,才可以让学生的词汇在质和量上得到提高。

Abstract:The status-quo of vocabulary teaching has been briefly discussed.Then the author points out that the theory of metaphor of cognitive linguistics may shed some insight to the problems existed in the vocabulary teaching.Based on the metaphor theory,the author argues that due attention should be paid to the basic vocabulary and its metaphorical meaning.In addition,context is another very important concept in the vocabulary teaching.Only in this way can student really see their improvement in vocabulary learning.
