钱钟书“桐城亦有诗派”续说

从清代桐城籍诗人的实际创作看，不仅文在桐城，诗亦在桐城。桐城派诗人谨守家法，有较为自觉的流派意识，以“正雅祛邪”为己任。姚范诗学观深刻影响了桐城诗派，以姚范为诗派的发端者，有合理一面，又不尽合理。重道不废文，唐宋兼取，刚柔并举，融通的诗学观，使得桐城诗派影响甚大。
