Different Methods and Common Connotations of Chinese and Western Social Development Theory Researches

Social development theory is a kind of ideology that people use concept and logical knowledge to make the society serve human beings,and its connotations include broad sense and narrow sense.Modern and contemporary western and Chinese researches on social development theory experience completely different research methods： the former is from analysis to comprehension,individual to generalization;while the latter is just the opposite.However,both of them also show common connotations： for social development research,we can neither simply seek its abstract nature and construct abstract logic system in the way of ontology,nor just research individual problems and then be lost in positivism,but we need to distinguish different disciplines to research social development of different classes and areas.
