摘    要:现代教育思想强调摆脱以“教师为中心”,提倡以“学生为中心”。在这种教育思想的指导下,多媒体教学模式应运而生,这种教学模式尤其适用于英语教学,能使英语教学取得事半功倍的效果。文章就如何利用多媒体开展英语教学和多媒体辅助教学模式下教师角色的定位加以探讨。

Abstract:Modern education stresses the thought of student orientedness rather than that of teacher orientedness. Under the direction of this educational thought, multi-media teaching and learning pattern emerges as the times require. This teaching pattern especially applies to English teaching and learning and makes it get the effects of getting twice the result with half the effort. This article does a discussion on how to make use of multi-media in college English teaching and how to position the roles of teachers in multi-media-based English teaching context.
