| 摘 要： | 随着信息技术的不断普及，地理信息系统（GIS）专业人才在西部发展中发挥着越来越大的作用。本文立足于西部发展的需要，针对目前技能型人才短缺和应用教育的不足，结合我校地理信息系统专业教育实际，提出GIS专业应用型人才培养的一些有效措施。
