NANJING MUSEUM

Nanjing Museum, with an area of 70,000 square meters, is located at the southern foot of the beautiful Purple Gold Mountain, withZhongshan Gate of the city wall on its east side and the remains of the imperial palace of the early Ming Dynasty on its west side. The museum＂s south gate faces the tree-lined boulevard leading to Xiaoling Mausoleum of the first Ming emperor and Sun Yat-Sen Mausoleum. At the entrance of the museum stands a pair of archways resembling Han-sMe watchtowers. The garden where the museum buildings are set is spacious and quiet, full of exuberant vegetations.
