| 摘 要： | 素质教育的目的是提高全民的综合素质。而外语教学的目的是培养学生用外语进行交际的能力。长期以来,由于受应试教育的影响,使学生不能用外语进行交际。我们应根据目前大学英语教学实际,充分认识素质教育的必要性,探求新的教学方法。

| Abstract: | The purpose of quality-oriented education is to improve the whole nations'comprehensive abilities.However the purpose of foreign language teaching is to cultivate the abilities of students who will be able to communicate in English.For a long time,because of the impact of examinationoriented education,students are not able to use English to hold the most basic conversations.The paper intends to state the necessity of carrying out quality-oriented education and presents new teaching methods on the basis of the present college English teaching. |
