狗的直觉

Like most dogs, my dog Murphy can always sense when something is wrong. She doesn't like it when I cry, for instance. Not that I cry that often. But when I do, she immediately knows something is amiss and jumps up on the sofa with me as if to ask, "Is there anything I can do?" So, since Sept. 11, she has wandered around the house like the rest of us have wandered around our lives. She knows" things aren't quite right.
