Abstract: | This case study describes a two year co‐development project involving BMJ Group and HighWire Press to redesign and migrate the company's flagship website, bmj.com , to Drupal. The new site went live in November 2011. The project achieved its five main objectives: (i) to boost discoverability of new content; (ii) increase user engagement; (iii) increase traffic; (iv) promote the site's channels (research, education, comment, news, multimedia, specialties); and (v) drive referrals to other BMJ Group product sites. |
