| 摘 要： | 西部民族地区构建和谐社会是一项长期而艰巨的任务。通过对西部民族地区特殊性的分析，认为加快经济发展是西部民族地区构建和谐社会的重点，而难点在于理顺利益关系。针对西部民族地区的特殊性及西部民族地区构建和谐社会的重点与难点，提出了几条建议。

| Abstract: | It is a long-term and arduous task to build a harmonious society in Western minority areas. Through analysis on the particularity of the western region,we find that economic development in the western re- gion is the focus of building a harmonious society,and difficulties lie in is to rationalize interests between various relationships.The author offers some suggestions. |
