摘    要:作为一种重要的教学评价方式,形成性评价十分注重学生的主体地位,让学生拥有更多的学习自主权,有利于激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生获得成就感。通过对终结性评价与形成性评价方式的比较分析,阐述了形成性评价在大学英语教学中的三大应用策略:建立学力数据库,建立随堂考查制度和建立作业档案。

Formative Evaluation and Application Strategy of College English Teaching

Abstract:As an important way of teaching evaluation, the formative evaluation pays great attention to students' domi- nant position and their positive attitude of learning, which helps to stimulate students' interest in learning English so that they get gain the sense of accomplishment. By way of the comparative analysis on the summative evaluation and the forma- tive evaluation, this paper sets forth the three application strategies of the formative evaluation in college English teaching, such as the establishment of the database of students' educational background, the formation of a quiz system and the creation of students' assignment records.
