A Brief Analysis on the Makeup and the Chinese Drama Art

The drama makeup in our country, as a sign, portrays the role＇s characters and personalities with its stylized make-up fomula, the vivid colours and the exaggerated designs. In the makeup design, the civility is usually made up to the characters who are fair, loyal and filial, the ugliness and ferocity to the characters who are crafty and vicious with the different techniques. The makeup absorbs the merits of the other arts, consisting its own artistic form in the Chinese drama which transmits the charm of the ancient civilization
