| Abstract: | This paper commented on the successful and failure aspects of the translation version, by Yu De-quan and his son, of the long Chinese antithetical couplet about Heimifeng Mountain in Hunan, China. Based on which, the possibility of the aesthetic reproduction during the process of rendering into English was discussed. Additionally, the modified version was presented. |
