The Analysis of MarYs Thought of Labor in Critique of the Gotha Program

Critique of the Gotha Program is an important document of scientific socialism. In order to defend the basic principles of socialism, Marx criticized the La Salle＇s view that labour was the source of wealth and culture, and expounds in his paper that labour is the criterion of distribution of consumption goods in social- ist stage. He also pointed out that hired labour system is the first reason of workers＇ pain and illustrated some views about workers. These thoughts are still helpful in protecting the natural resources, defending workers＂ legitimate rights and interests and building a harmonious socialist society in the process of socialist economic construction.
