An international perspective on management consulting: comception, connotation and define
Abstract:Starting from a historical retrospect of consulting and management consulting, this article analyzes, with an international viewpoint, the conception of consultation in the first place. From among them, the author criticizes, clarifies and defines a substantially specific human activity of consultation, which may lead to a business, industry and profession. In turn, the author summarizes a number of features of the activity with the viewpoints of previous writings. On this basis, the author defines the conception of management consulting, as well as the service scope of that business which is comparable with the international practices.
