| Abstract: | As a man of letters, CHEN Du-xu can be praised as an encyclopedic talent, this paper tries to emphasize his self-cultivation and outward inflencing. What we mean by self-cultivation is that his indefatigable cultural quest, outward influencing is his tireless spirit in cultrual enlightenment. These two sides are indespensible and independently improved. The science and democracy are the soul in both of them. |
