试论口译中的主题思想识别

在汉英间进行口译时，主题思想识别技能非常重要，因为主题思想识别的成败直接影响到口译的质量。口译中主题思想识别技能的培养应从句子和篇章两个层面入手。句子层面上的训练培养包括对英语中时态和句子主谓宾结构的敏感性和准确把握，以及对汉语中某些表示时间的语气助词的精确理解和快速转换。因此借助笔记对主题思想“形象化”是此训练的目标之一。篇章层面上，在对发言的立场观点进行背景调查的基础上，重视对各种体逻辑顺序的把握，培养预测、印证、再预测、再印证的技能。

On Identification of Main Ideas in Interpreting

Identification of main ideas is a fundamental skill of great importance in interpreting. The unique process and aims of interpreting mandate that great attention be given to the nurturing of the skill because it makes a great difference in the quality of interpreting. The paper proposes that training on identification of main ideas should be conducted on the sentence level and the discourse level . On the sentence level, interpreters should be exposed to the linguistic disparities between the languages. On the discourse level, background investigation, note-taking, logical analysis of types of speech, visualizing, and anticipation are emphasized.
