论语言在人类走向文明中的作用

劳动创造了人,而语言是和劳动一起使人成为人的最重的力量。语言仅仅被诠释为工具,漠视语言与人的本质的联系,是一个严重的误区。语言的出现比工具的出现进化更具革命性的意义,意味着人猿揖别,从原始走向文明。科学家新近证实,人类具有的语言基因使人类成为优势种群。语言是人类拥有世界的方式,语言使我们成为文化的人,社会的人。没有语言,人不能获得“类”的特征,不能进行正常的和复杂的思维活动,语言使我们成为思考的人,超越本能的人。语言不是用来传递什么的单纯的工具,它本身就是创造人类文明的力量,是使我们成为人的力量。

Discussing on the Function of Language in Human Civilization

It is a serious misunderstanding that regards the language only a tool and disregards the distinct relationship between the language and human being.The emergence of language carries more revolutionary meaning than the development of tools does.For it tells the difference between human being and ape and symbolizes that we have stepped into civilization from primitive society.It is proved by scientists recently that the language gene owned by humans make us superior species.Language is the way by which we have our world.Language makes us human in terms of culture and society.Without it,man cannot get any design feature.and he is not able to think and ponder as usual.It is the language that gives us ability to think and to surpass our instinct.Language is not merely a tool to convey something.Language itself is the strength that constructs civilizations and makes us human being.
