论双关语翻译中译者的主观能动性

On Translator's Subjectivity and Creativity in Pun Translation

As the translation of a pun needs to express at lest two meanings of the same word,so the traditional translation theory regards pun untranslatable,but Delabastita thinks that pun is translatable and summarized ten methods to translate pun,whose methods provide translators with theoretical and practical basis and are also helpful to their creativity.These existing excellent versions also show that translators could exert their subjectivity and creativity in translating pun.
