| 摘 要： | 英汉两种语言中都存在“诅咒语”，但它们之间的语义与语用功能并不完全相同。本文从语用学、社会语言学、宗教观和哲学传统的角度对这个问题进行了探讨，发现汉英两个民族诅咒用语的不同，正是中西方文化差异的真实反映。

| Abstract: | Both English and Chinese have swearwords,but their semantic meaning and pragmatic functions are not exactly the same. This paper probes into this problem from the perspective of pragmatics, sociolinguistics,religious beliefs and philosophies and finds that the difference between swearwords of the two languages has,in fact,reflected the differences between the Chinese and the Western cultures. |
