| 摘 要： | 柏拉图并非如通常所说的敌视一切艺术,他驱逐的仅是摹仿现实的艺术及其作者,而推崇呈现理念的艺术。这是因为,就其与真理的关系来说,摹仿艺术远离真理,而呈现理念的艺术接近真理;就艺术的社会功效来说,摹仿艺术会腐蚀读者的心灵,而呈现理念的艺术能培养读者的美德。按照柏拉图的逻辑,呈现理念的艺术是可能产生的,因为灵魂不朽提供了其产生的前提;去蔽提供了其产生的手段;虔诚和知识提供了其产生的基础;而神灵凭附是其产生的保障。不过,呈现理念的艺术很有可能使得艺术单一化并导致艺术的最终消亡。这正是柏拉图没有正面提出呈现理念的艺术的原因,也是柏拉图艺术理论遭人诟病的原因。
