| Abstract: | In the short story A Piece of News,American writer Eudora Welty employed several narrative methods,which enhanced the text with uncertainty and unpredictability.Through the deep analysis of the writer's narrative strategies,readers' interpretative abilities have been developed.By careful study,readers reconstructed the multi-meanings for the text consciously.In this way,they have a better understanding of the artistic effect of the strong comparison hidden in the narrative structure. |
