| Abstract: | Notes from the Laoxue Hut,a collection of jottings by Lu You,is known for its rich and extensive coverage of things,many of which involves the use of dialects in various parts of China back then.A large number of phonological phenomena and many dialectical words and expressions are recorded in his book,being an important source of reference for the research on the history of Chinese dialectology. |
