Influence of the Intercultural Communication on Foreign Language Teaching

This paper states the importance and necessity of intercultural communication research in foreign language teaching. At the beginning of the paper,the author analyzes two relations:between language and culture and between culture and communication. Then,he points out the influence on foreign language teaching from cultural words, grammar, language context, pragmatics, culture which indicate the necessity of its research. Eventually, the author,using the freshnees, the funniness, the practability and thinkability of intercultural knowledge, proves the importnace of its research.
