| Abstract: | The Summer Resort is vast and magnificent, which reflects the broad-minded ideals of Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong. They considered the affairs under heaven and of all ages; they advocated a simple and peaceful life; they kept a principle of not cheating to others and themselves. All these virtues formed the spirit of the Heyday, and became the important factors of laying down the correct policies towards the nationalities. |
