我国外语教育的历史考察和当代启示

近代外语教学在特殊历史情境下展开。虽然受时代局限，存在许多问题，但一些经验仍值得借鉴。近代外语教学所强调的语言学习与西方文化并进，中国传统文化与西方文化并重的教育理念，经世致用的教学观念以及重视多样化和本土化的教学，重视语言知识输入、强调先学后用、重视中文学习等等，都给当代英语教学以很好的启示。

Historical Survey and Realistic Thinking of Foreign Language Teaching

Modern foreign language teaching was carried on in a particular historical context. Some experi- ence are still worth learning, though they were limited by the times and had lots of problems. Modern foreign lan- guage teaching emphasizes on language learning going along with western culture, traditional Chinese culture going along with western culture, its practical teaching ideas and its emphasis on diversification and localization of teaching, its stress on knowledge of language input and the use after learning and its emphasis on Chinese learning etc, all of which give the contemporary English language teaching a good inspiration.
