清代台湾通事考论

通事是清代处理台湾汉番关系的重要纽带之一，它的权力及其管辖范围随着番民的汉化、汉番交往的增多，以及清政府对通事地位认识的不断加深而逐渐扩大。尽管通事制度存在许多弊端，但通事对于清政府理番、汉番关系以及番族自身的进化均有不可替代的作用。
