| Abstract: | After the Xinhai Revolution (1911) broke out in China, the foreign imperialist powers adopted for their own interests in China the policy of overwhelming the Chinese revolutionaries by supporting the antirevolutionaries and directly interfering the Revolution.This made the revolutionaries come to compromise. As a result, Yuan Shikai usurped the supreme power to China, which brought an end of the Revolution. |
