| Abstract: | After a brief introduction of the humor,the author discusses mainly the concept of an ehumor. Then she compares the differences and similarities between ehumors and other written humors. Through the analysis of several Chinese ehumors in terms of relevance theory, the author concludes that relevance theory can explain not only dialogical conversations, but also monological garden path ehumors. |
