英汉定语形容词词序的差异及对英汉翻译的启示

英汉语言定语形容词的排序迥异，排序问题的研究一直是学者们关注的焦点之一。英汉定语形容词在界定范围和标准、分类标准和顺序排列上存在较大差异。通过对比这三方面的差异，可以对各自定语形容词的排序规律进行清晰的认识，并在此基础上提出在翻译过程中调整词序的步骤，即按照源语的字面意思直接翻译、标注定语形容词在目的语中的类别、按照汉语表达习惯调整词序，从而避免汉语表达西化的倾向。

A Contrastive View on Word Orders of Attributive Adjectives Between English and Chinese

There is a sharp distinction of attributive adjective orders between English and Chinese,with which scholars show great concern.Contrasting the standard of defining and the scope of attributive adjectives,classification and word orders of attributive adjectives between English and Chinese,this paper illustrates the nature of attribute adjective orders and provides a method for translating attributive adjectives from English to Chinese,i.e.translating the source language literally,labeling the classification and adjusting orders idiomatically in target language to the point of arriving at native Chinese.
