| 摘 要： | 英国英语的衰落与美国英语的繁荣，如同英帝国的衰落与美国的强盛一样是并存的现象。对英美两个国家进行一下粗略的对比，可发现，英国英语的衰落有其政治、经济和科技及语言本身等方面的原因。

| Abstract: | The decline of British English and the prosperity of American English, just as the decline of the British Empire and the prosperity of the USA, is a co-existing phenomenon. By comparing the two countries briefly, we can see that the decline of British English has its political, economic, scientific and the language itself causes. |
