| 摘 要： | 河北省8所高校现用的5套英语专业基础英语教材在篇幅的长短、难度方面没有很好地体现均衡的递进趋势，语篇存在滞后现象，缺乏中国文化的内容。建议教材中涵盖一定的母语文化，增加教材文化的多元化特征；将语料库技术应用于教材开发与建设，保证教材内容的多样性与时代性以及长度与难度的均衡性。

| Abstract: | Problems of the current textbooks of intensive reading for English majors of eight colleges in Hebei are lack of source culture, uneven degree of length and difficulty and slow updates. Some counter- measures are suggested, such as adding some materials related to Chinese culture to achieve the character- istics of multi-culture, application of corpus in textbook designing, so as to ensure diversity and balance of the times and the length and difficulty of the textbook content. |
