统一与建设为切要之图--张学良政治思想述论

张学良息争统一的愿望使他厌恶战争、反对战争、追求和平;他统一御侮的成见使他易帜、助蒋、拥蒋“剿共”,由正确走向错误;他非抗日不能统一的思想飞跃又使他逼蒋联共抗日,由错误回归到正确。张学良始终把发展经济放在重要的战略地位,他已不是以争夺地盘为目标,而是以发展经济增强国力为宗旨。他认为：如果一个国家的经济上不去政治上就很难独立,就会受到强国侵略的威胁,民族生存都是个问题。因此,要图民族生存必须大力发展经济。

On Zhang Xue-liang's Political proposal of Re-unification and Construction

Zhang Xueliang had a strong hope of reunifying China.This made him sick of and against the war,in pursuit of the peace.However his prejudice of reunification and resistance of repentance made him change the flag of the army,help and support Jiang Jieshi to"wipe out the communists",and also made him move from right to wrong.But the ideal that the country could not be reunified without resisting against the Japanese aggression again returned him from wrong to right,that he forced Jiang to ally with the communists and to fight the Japanese.Zhang would look at the economic development as an important strategy.He did not aim to enlarge the territory but to develop economy to strengthen the national capabilities.He thought:if a nation had not strong economic foundation,her politics could not be independent,and the country would be invaded by powerful countries,and the nation could not be survived.Therefore,we should make great efforts to develop the economy so as to let the Chinese nation stand firm in the world family of nationalities.
