| 摘 要： | 作为一位爱国的科学家，在近代中国极为困难的条件下，丁文江筚路蓝缕，奋力开拓．终于奠定了中国地质科学发展的基础。除致力于地质科学外，丁文江还大力弘扬科学精神，改革中央研究院，热心扶持和推动各项科学事业的发展，为近代中国科学事业的进步做出了积极贡献。

| Abstract: | As a patriotic scientist, Ting Wen-Chiang worked industrially and pioneered strenuously under the extremely difficult conditions, and finally laid down the developmental foundation of Geology in modern China. He also greatly promoted the spirit of science, reformed the Central Research Academy, warmly supported and promoted the development of various causes of science. Therefore, Ting Wen-chiang had made great contributions to the cause of science in modern China. |
