| Abstract: | Northrop Frye,a Canadian literary critic,is a world-renowned great thinker.This article first expounds that the core of Frye's thought lies in the imaginative vision generated by the desire for identity and the complete disappearance of alienation.Based on this new light,Frye's major issues will be expounded and assessed afresh with the hope that this may provide aid for a full and fundamental grasp of Frye's system. |
