关于编写中国古代文学史的四个问题

一百年来，中国古代文学史的编写工作虽然取得了突出的成绩，但还存在着一些不足。要弥补这些不足，应注意四个方面的问题：一是保持多元的格局；二是开阔视野，拓展内容；三是体现当代精神，吸收新的研究成果；四是重积累，循序渐进。这样才能真正展示中国文学发展演变的真实面貌，揭示中国文学发展的内在规律。

In recent 100 years, the work of compiling Chinese ancient literature history has achieved a lot, but the shortcomings still exist. In order to make up this, four problems should be noticed. The first is to keep the pluralistic patterns. The second is to have a wide field of vision and to richen the contents. The third is to embody the modern spirits and to absorb the research achievements. And the last is to pay attention to the accumulation, and to follow in order and advance step by step.
