管窥美国学术图书馆员的职责、技能与新角色

数字时代,越来越多的大学将新技术融入教学。学术图书馆作为信息的发现、提供、管理机构,为了满足这不断增长的技术需求将重新建立新的部门、新的岗位。据美国陆军实验室的研究发现,美国和加拿大的113所大学超过一半的图书馆员招聘信息是新创建或重新定义的新角色。本文通过对2015年7~9月美国专门针对学术图书馆员的招聘信息进行收集、统计和分析,总结了美国学术图书馆员的职责趋势,对适应这一趋势需要的技能进行了梳理,并探讨了美国学术图书馆员的新角色。

Glimpse into the Academic Librarians Duties,Skills,and the New Role

The digital age, more and more universities integrate new technologies into teaching.Academic libraries as discovery information provided, the Governing Body, in order to meet this growing technology needs will reestablish a new division, a new position.According to the US Army laboratory study found that 113 universities in the United States and Canada, more than half of the librarians are new jobs created or redefined new role.Based on the 2015 July-September against the United States devoted to academic librarians recruitment information collection, statistics and analysis, the paper summed up the duties trend in the US academic librarians skills to adapt to this trend we need to be in order, and discussed the new role of US academic librarians.
