基于信息生命周期的数字馆藏管理研究

依据数字资源在其生命周期中价值的变化规律,提出对不同的数字资源,在不同的时间,不同的阶段,进行分级存储、保护与服务,即针对不同类型的数字馆藏制定不同管理策略的新理念。从而指导图书馆实现对数字馆藏的建设与管理,使其以最低的成本获得最大的服务效益。

Research on Digital Collection Management Based on Information Lifecycle

Based on the changing patterns of digital resources' value in its lifecycle, this paper raises upon a new idea that we should take leveled storage, preservation and service in accordance with different types of digital resources in different time and stage. That is to say, we should formulate different management strategies for different types of digital collection. By applying this new idea to digital collection construction and management, we can get the maximum benefit with the minimum costs.
