| Abstract: | Integrating her experience in teaching Advanced English Writing in a Chinese university,this author categorizes and analyzes the fallacies in the compositions of third-year students in this university.The conclusion is drawn that fallacy,as one of the extralingual errors in writing,affects the persuasiveness of their compositions.Therefore,students＇logical reasoning ability should be promoted in English writing classes. |
