| Abstract: | Shang guan style,a flourishing palatial style of poetry during the reign of Emperor Gao Zong at the beginning of Tang Dynasty,was a product of politics,economics and culture of that epoch.Its formation was also insuperable from the summary by Shang Guan Yi of the antithetical theory evolved during the formation of lüshi and from his skilful application of antithesis in his poetic creation. |
