| 摘 要： | "美育"一词,古巴有之.然而作为现代意义的"美育"一词.则是西方舶来品.德国诗人席勒最早使用,曾留学德国的蔡元培译介到中国.国学大师王国维深入研究.全面挖掘探索意旨,使美育逐渐深入人心;教育家蔡元培在民国初登高疾呼,大力推进美育的实施,终于使美育发挥着越来越大的改造社会的作用.

| Abstract: | The term of aesthetics is first used by Schiller,a German poet,with modern meaning.Cai Yuanpei introduces it to China,and Wang Guowei furthers the study,thus spreading aesthetic education,and enabling it to play increasing role in social reforms. |
