| Abstract: | The epitaph of Qiu Gongzhu concerns the deeds related to Wang Yaochen, the outstanding minister of Song Dynasty, and the genealogy of the birthplace of Qiu Yu, the government official resisting the aggressors of Jin. This epitaph not only fills in a gap of the history, but proves some historical facts. In addition, the calligraphy carved on it is distinct, which has a high value of appreciation, and thus it is identified as the second-class historical relic of the nation. |
